Getting The Most From Your Hydrafacial®

Ashley Davis, Licensed Esthetician has authored this blog post to inform you about the benefits of HydraFacials.

 What is Hydrafacial®?

The HydraFacial is a skin resurfacing treatment (hydradermabrasion) designed to cleanse, exfoliate, extract impurities and provide intense hydration to your skin by using Vortex-Fusion Technology. Overall, the facial is very comfortable, there is no downtime, and can be done in as little as 30 minutes. It helps to improve the overall health of the skin. Your skin is left cleaner, smoother, brighter and more hydrated in just a few steps.

Who is Hydrafacial® for?

Hydrafacial is for great for everyone. Because it is an exfoliation (removal of surface levels of skin) treatment, it helps to smooth and brighten the skin to reduce the signs of aging and sun damage. It also helps to treat milder forms of acne as it deeply cleanses and treats the pores. As long as you are not suffering from an extreme cystic acne breakout, don’t have any active infections or allergies to sulfa drugs you’re a candidate for the treatment.

Customizing your Hydrafacial® Experience

While we offer the Hydrafacial in its classic form, if you’re looking for more targeted results, we can tailor your treatment to get the most from your appointment. We offer several different ways to customize your Hydrafacial to fit your wants and needs in the form of boosters, add-ons and specialty Hydrafacials to provide increased results.

Boosters:  Dermabuilder is a concentrated peptide formulation designed to hydrate, firm and soothe skin to address fine lines, wrinkles, skin tone evenness and texture. Britenol helps target pigmented (darkened) areas of concern using a blend of Vitamin C and Alpha Arbutin to help achieve a more even complexion and tone of skin. Wet Dermal Abrasion increases the amount of surface exfoliation by using a microdiamond tip to help slough off more of the top layer of skin so that serums penetrate more deeply. Collagen production is also stimulated with this booster. Lymphatic Drainage helps to detoxify the skin as well as help with sinus congestion.

Add-ons:  If you’re struggling with acne you can couple our TheraClear™  treatment with your Hydrafacial. It will help to further cleanse pores and kill acne-causing bacteria.

If you want more deeply exfoliated skin with the benefit of removing peach fuzz, you can add dermaplaning to your treatment. Dermaplaning not only removes unwanted peach fuzz, it also produces an immediately brightening effect.  You may also add on an extended LED light therapy to help further reduce lines and wrinkles or kill acne-causing bacteria.

Specialty Hydrafacials: We also offer specialized hydrafacial treatments to address skincare concerns. The Deluxe Hydrafacial adds a condition specific mask to the facial to address pigmentation, aging, or acne. The Sente Dermal Repair Hydrafacial uses the patented technology of Sente’s Heparan Sulfate Analog (moisture molecule) to deeply hydrate and even tone of dry and dehydrated, aging skin.  The Restorative Hydrafacial incorporates a full-face growth factor serum to help reduce the signs of aging all over the face, for a more hydrated, toned, and plumped skin quality.
