These are pharmaceutical grade products that are manufactured to a very high standard. Mineral makeup is thought to be less likely to harbor harmful bacteria. Remember cleaning your brushes daily with a "squirt" of brush cleaner or at the very least rubbing alcohol will minimize transmitting acne causing bacteria from the applicator to your face.
When applying mascara, primer or brow gel, avoiding "pumping" the brush into the bottle as this adds air to the product and causes it to dry out more easily.
