We are often fortunate enough to have visiting students as well as physicians join us at DLCC. Dr. Schlesinger teaches and oversees the didactic and clinical training of dermatology and family medicine residents, along with those physician assistant students, during their educational instruction of medical, cosmetic and research dermatology. Residents and students training at Dermatology & Laser Center of Charleston often visit the office to receive exposure to the “real life” of a private dermatology practice. As the Director of the DLCC mentoring program, Dr. Schlesinger supervises the practice as a teaching facility for many types of students including participants in the Physician Assistants program at MUSC, estheticians and medical students.
If you are interested in visiting the Dermatology & Laser Center of Charleston for rotation or shadowing day, please contact our office for more information.
